The Process
Although Linda’s originals are not for sale directly, Giclee quality reprints are available in sizes 30” x 40” or 18” x 24”
What is “Giclee” printing?
-
Our Giclee printing is one of the best print reproduction methods available. Each reproduction is as true to the original as possible. Giclee (pronounced zhee-klay) is French for a “spray of liquid”.
-
Giclee printing is an elevation in printmaking technology. Our images are generated from high-resolution digital files. Each image is printed with a professional 8-Color ink-jet printer directly onto canvas, using pigment-based archival inks. The Giclee printing process provides incredible detail and color accuracy for fine art.
-
Many admirers of Linda’s art have said it is hard to tell the difference from her original acrylic paintings.
-
The Giclee process ensures that your prints will not degrade or yellow, and colors will not fade over time.
-
To ensure our acid-free archival inks are stable and dry, we wait 48 hours to wrap the canvas after printing. We do a professional, high-quality gallery wrap on 1½ inch stretcher bars, so our Giclee prints can be hung as fine art without a frame.
-
Each Giclee print comes numbered with a certificate of authenticity.
